Just got the M020's - similar to these, but with water resistant suede upper, and apparently less consticting band across the foot. I LOVE them. These are the most comfortable "normal looking" minimal shoes I own. I can't even feel the 4mm drop (although psychologically, less would be better).

1. Do these shoes leave marks on floors?

2. I just bought them, and have found that they leave black marks on my white socks. Has anyone else gotten black marks on their socks/feet in these?

I had eagerly ordered a pair of these Multi-Sports, but ended up exchanging the size 10 for 9.5 and am still feeling like they're too big. The odd thing about this is that when I tried on a size 10 of those orange NB Minimus Trails at a local store, they fit me quite snugly.

And maybe I've just been spoiled by Fivefingers, but I'm also finding the ground feel of these Minimus shoes to be pretty disappointing. I'm having second thoughts about turning to NB for any Minimalist shoes I buy in the future.

I've been hiking/trail running with these all winter in Portland, Oregon and they have performed admirably. The only thing I don't like is how the more rigid water-resistant material doesn't really hug your feet the same way the mesh minimus trails do. However, that's just a nitpicky thing. The shoes are still fantastic and keep my feet warm and dry. Would definitely recommend them.

In case anyone else cars. I bought some after trying on the regular minimus trails and these fit noticeably wider. I have narrow feet and the trails fit perfect. The Multi sport ones were sloppy. Ended up selling them and getting the regular trails. So if you the trails fit perfect I would make sure to try these on first. If the trails are too narrow (like many other reviews say) then maybe look into these.

Decided to go buy some for myself and answered my own question. Yes the fold up nicely. It's not too stiff. I use it as my regular everyday shoe and love it.

The main problem I have with all these minimal shoes is if you have a lot of small rocks you will feel everyone of them, and not in a good way. Plus the NB minimalist has awful traction when its wet. Wet rocks become like ice.
