beginner's guide to vibram five fingers
I'm in Japan, and I use VFF as my everyday sneaks and as my "school shoes" where I teach. The kids love 'em. Call 'em "frog shoes."

I'm in Japan too, and I would love to find out where I can get a pair - the sizing difference is making me a bit iffy about ordering them online(my feet are 29cm, about 11 in inches).

Any suggestions?

They seem to sell the VFF classics at Oshman's and L-Breath in Tokyo (Both stores have a Shinjuku branch).

Hi guys, I am a pose running coach and 4+ years exclusive FiveFingers wearer who also imports and distributes the Fives in Australia & NZ.

We have built the Fives and barefoot running in Oz over the past few years thtrough a grassroots network of runners, trainers, athletes and adventure racers who love and live the product.
This is where we think the heart of the FiveFingers lies.

I am coming to Japan on the 28th of May for a week of fact finding, meetings and of course running! We think it could be done a lot better over there, and may look to take the job on.

I intend to be at the Namban Running Club Sunday run on Sunday 30th May. I would love to a) hear from b) meet/chat to c) run with any of you who have time to spare.
Any advice re. who should be stocking the Fives & who should be wearing the Fives in Japan would be most welcome.

I will be bringing new styles (2011) and am happy to give you a sneaky preview. Also any requests from what we have available, I am happy to bring over for you. We also have a team running TNF 100k in 8 days (including me)should be wild. you can follow us on

I have seen and heard lots about barefoot running lately and got interested. So I 'googled' where to buy vibram fivefingers in Japan and got this website. Thanks for it! My husband and I live in Okinawa and are visiting Tokyo in June. We will look for them at Oshman's and L-Breath (the two stores mentioned - running stores? -alto' the names don't sound very Japanese) while there. Again, thanks.
