I'm starting to think that as VFF is spreading more rapidly we can create a movement of VFF or Birthday Shoes Meetup groups -- where people meet to talk about their VFFs and do fun activities together.

Does this interest anyone?

And if so are you in the Bay Area, CA?

That's a good idea. Anyone in San Antonio, TX?

Update: I found a Five fingers meet up group in Austin, but not in San Antonio. I might have to start one up.

Search meetup.com for Five fingers or Vibram Five fingers and it should find VFF groups within your area (if they exist).

Here in Austin?! Wow, I've only seen one other person wearing them, at that was at the Austin Xterra trail run (I ran the 5K in my kso's). I'm going to have to look for that.

You might want to bill it as a "Barefoot Hiking/Running" group and include VFF's in the list of keywords.  People will find it either way and you'll likely attract a larger crowd.
