Zumba in KomodoSport LS. I've been using these for zumba for 5 months, one a week. I like how they allow me to respond without slipping and without gripping too hard. All except for those slidely little sachet Island Girl kind of movements, which as a male I'm still not comfortable with anyway.

Had a track meet in New Orleans this weekend. I ran the 4 -by- 800 replay (worst race ever) and the 3200 meters. I ran both in my Bikilas and my 3200 time was 12:17. I'm gonna try to break 12 at our home meet this weekend.

Hiked again with my wife. We went about four miles down the valley and then up and over the hills to get home.

Today is my off day for working out, but we're doing nothing at work. Decided to get into PT gear and my VFF's to clean the work area. Figured why not be comfortable while I do it. Two other people in my platoon who wear VFF's followed suit shortly after.

Ran 5.5km barefoot today - my longest run in over five years.
More than a minute per km slower than what I used to do, but I'm happy to be fit enough to run again.

Did some pressure washing on my parents roof, then cut my grass in my KSOs. @Evan, where are you located? I live in Hammond and have a friend up here also named Evan but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have Bikilas.

Just got back from the gym where I did some interval training and lifted some weights. Just getting back in shape, so it's a fairly light workout until it gets a little easier.
Loving the KSO's, this pair feels a lot more comfortable than my previous pair that I returned. None of that rubbing and chafing like I had before. I spotted 3 others at the gym in VFFs. Most everyone else was wearing free's.
It sucks right now, because I am waiting for all of our snow here to melt. We've got about a foot or more, and the next three weeks or so the whole town will be one giant slushy puddle. This is my least favourite time of year, because I can't go out in VFFs and hope to have warm or dry feet. It's annoying, but at least it's warming up finally!!

Traveled out to the Midwest for some business meetings. For the first time in over a half million miles of air travel there were 2 other people on the one leg with me wearing VFF's. A girl in black Treks and a guy in black and Grey camo KSO's. And yes, I tormented them with typical "questions" until they noticed my grey palms.

So, doing any amount of running in my nike frees is out. Its absolute torture to run with those pillows/bricks on my feet. My knee started hurting, and my motivation was killed resulting in discomfort and an overall feeling of being sad and out of shape.
So, I've decided to do runs no longer than 2-3 miles for the forseeable future. My foot hurts for a few days after anything over 4-5m, so I'm finally going to be sensible and quit pushing it! Id rather run 2m everyday and feel good than one 5m run and hurt for three days. Such a "duh" moment.. but that's how I do!
On Saturday I ran 2.6 miles and then lifted weights. Today ill run a couple miles and lift again.. all in my bikila ls

All the snow finished melting last week, so went running in my Bikilas Friday for the first time since November (it was VB EvoII or Flows since then), also tried my new Lulu crops, awesome!!, then went to pick-up a stray cat from the vet I got fixed, then delivered her to the new family I found for her, in my Classics. The woman getting the cat asked if they were socks...

Given it's excellent weather here in the UK, I sported my speeds today and took my car for a service, then went into a crowded supermarket for a few groceries. Nobody said a thing. No strange looks either. I'm now wondering whether people are just not observant, whether they're too polite to comment, or whether I'm starting to become paranoid... PS. It's hard to attempt fox walking when weighed down with three bags of groceries.
