I found a pair of KSO for 40 bucks and treksports for 60 (both in old colors which is why they're so cheap I think and from reputable dealers) Is it worth it to get both since that would still be around the normal price for a single pair of vibrams anyway?

They are good options at two ends of the spectrum for VFFs.  I have now 2 pairs of KSOs and a pair of treksports...  They each have their uses.

absolutely get both. the ksos have the best ground feel and are my favorite for casual/daily use. the trek sports are great for just what they are designed for, rough surfaces. also i think that my trek sports look the best on my feet out of the three pairs i have.

If you look at my signature, you'll realize I can only say yes. They are quite different sole wise, the Treksports will carry over rougher terrain.
