Anyone try trail running/hiking in KOMODOs yet? Im wondering how the traction is off road. I find my KSO have much better grip than the "road traction" in the SPEED/BIKILA.

Just got my Komodos and have done about 10 trail miles in them. I like them much better than the KSO's I had been wearing - no complaints on traction - but the biggest thing is the cushioning. I really appreciate it when stepping on rocks/gravel. The trails around here have a lot of that and it tore my feet up in KSOs.

how quickly do the komodo's dry? im considering getting a pair of these or sport treks for hiking, i find the kso takes ages to dry, i would prefer something that dries slightly quicker, or a tighter fit .

@kheavy How do you like the Komodo's? I was thinking of grabbing a pair, because they are really starting to call to me. How do they do in comparison to trek/Treksport sole?

Im Bored so im dragging up old topics. I havent had a pair of the treksports yet but the komodos are awsome on trails. up hill was a blast and down hill was a diffrent story. i dont know if it was the speed i was going down or the fit of the komodos. My Fiance has a bum ankle so we take it slow down hill. I didnt slip or anything but it was uncomfortable in the toe area. Planning on going on a 4 mile hike about 20 miles from my house. I will let you guys know how they tough out there.  Smiley
