I'm still a little shy wearing them out going to class or doing other non-workout type stuff. But I wear them to my school's rec center (when I'm not lifting weights). I'm getting better about wearing them out in public more though. I just do try to make them a little less noticeable though.

How do you make VFFs less noticable?

How do you make VFFs less noticable? *laughs* I find wearing wide pants helps, as does adopting an attitude of "there's nothing unusual on my feet." We'll see if the attitude works when it gets warmer and I start wearing my Sprints with skirts and shorts.

I just simply don't care what other people think about the way I look. It really makes my gf angry at times because of some of the attire I wear. She thinks it reflects poorly on her. Hopefully one of these days that will not be a concern on her part. I go for comfort over fashion.
I could easily be the next guest on "What Not To Wear." I would feel sorry for the host because there is no way they would ever convince me to wear foot coffins.

I actually find VFFs aesthetically pleasing because you can see the functionality of them just by looking at them. Functionality gives rise to form when done properly.

I always imagine having loud arguments with Stacy London about how "comfortable" those awful pointy-toed shoes are. I have always wondered how painful it would be to wear those. I doubt they are in my size and I am not feeling all that excited about that scientific study.

Her claim is that your feet don't go into the pointy part, but I consider that a load of ----, personally. Heels plus pointy toes seems like a guarantee that between gravity and the motion of walking, you'd end up with your toes all wedged together at the end of the day. I also have a friend who owns some, and she complains that her feet aren't able to fit fully on stairs because of the point!
