Yes, I'm happy just like everyone else (at least most everyone) about my purchase of the VFF (KSOs). They'd stood up to my big 6' 6" 313lbs (was 328lbs) self. I wear them everyday (minus at work. Sad) and do everything in them. Minus dress shoes and one pair of Crocs, I gave away all of my shoes (donated). LOVE my VFFs.

Now hurting... yes, I had the general break in period and my calves hurt and many other things (I got a matching pair of Zensah leg sleeves (LOVE them too)). The reason why I'm writing this may seem small in comparison, but it's a good thing for me.

Last night I was at soccer practice (I'm the coach.), U4 kids (All the kids are under 4.) and we were kicking into the net and of course, there was nothing holding the back of the net down, so the balls were going through it. So I stepped behind the goal to retrieve the balls and on my way out, I snagged my left big toe on the metal of the goal. I didn't think anything about it and continued with practice.

After practice, my son and I went home and I took my KSOs off. My left big toe was covered in wet/dried blood. My toe was semi-sliced and blood was in my toe pocket. Dang, didn't hurt till I saw that. Smiley Then I freaked out. My brand new pair of KSOs were going to have a gash in the toe pocket. I picked it up and examined it. Nothing there!? I even had my wife look. Not even evidence of a scratch. Wow, crazy, but I was relieved!

So, this is my little testimony about how much I love and enjoy my VFF KSOs. Thanks VibramFiveFingers for making them and BirthdayShoes for promoting them.

Welcome to the madness!  I do miss the carelessness of having real shoes sometimes, but at least your KSOs are no worse for wear (note that they react well to stitching and other spot repairs).

Thank you. Loving the madness. Smiley

I figure they are shoes after all, so either these or regular shoes will both get "hurt". So I wear my VFF KSOs the same. I'm just glad there was no tear in the KSOs. Smiley Toe is sore today though. Smiley

Nice.  Now you have a battle scar from your (near)barefooting!  That makes you hardcore.  I wonder if the Bikila/TrekSport TPU toenails would stop that (assuming the sole doesn't peel off from the impact).

woot! Wink

I am mostly barefooted all day, minus when I walk around at work (Crocs/dress shoes) and all the other times KSOed. Around the house I'm barefooted all the time. Wife thinks I'm weird, only because this year is the first time I've ever started going barefoot/VFF. Smiley
