my new pair of Speeds - pictures compared to sample model

I just got some Speeds, ordered from Pure Footwear in the UK.  I think it was about $100 with the international shipping, not bad at all.  I think they look killer!  I agree the white across the front with the Vibram logo would have looked better left mesh or even leather, but it's ok.  Here's pics:



Note:  My wife just came home while I'm sporting them around the house (she hates all 3 colors of my KSO's), and I was all stoked, "Don't you love them, babe?  They're cool!"  and she replies, "Those are the worst yet!  They look like something a 4 year old would wear." 

Ouch!  But I still love 'em.

they have grown a bit on my. I use then casually quite often. the first tightness around my big toe has gone away. still prefer the kso for running longer distances though...

My only complaint is the white insole.  Even with clean feet it gets dirty pretty quick. 

I know no ones supposed to see it, but with the amount of interest these things draw it should at least *look* clean.

How did you get these Speeds from Pure Footwear for $100 shipped? I'm showing them around 100 pounds shipped which is like $145, definitely too rich for me. And thats with a "10% discount" they're offering. That includes my shipping which is like 22 pounds if that is comparable.
