Womens winter boots... would these work?

Hello -

Looking for opinions since I am still new to the 'barefoot' walking...

In search of some winter boots for WI, and cannot seem to find any true barefoot ones that I like... I am considering the following...  Do you think the heel to toe drop would be low enough on these that I could still do the 'forefoot walking' I have become accustomed to since switching to VFF's?

For me, I would either go with the Neos Villager Overshoe or my Vivobarefoot Highs with some gaiters.  The Sorels look like they have a fairly significant heel to toe drop and a thick sole.

I got my first pair (Treksports) at REI. I know they carry them at Bandanna too. The others I've gotten from internet orders.

oh god that's too weird, i got my first pair (Treksports) at REI also. I was just asking because when i was in Benchmark the guy made a comment how "a teacher as BSU has about 13 pairs of these things". Just seeing if by random coincidence that person was you haha.
