The Vibram quailty issues have changed how I pruchase my VFFs. I now either buy locally and inspect for defects myself, espeically the too thin sole defect, or I have to buy online from a site that I can contact and get them to personally look for defects. This saves me the trouble of getting new VFFS and find they have defects and then sending them back. Such a pain!  I just purchased a pair of classics from gssgear.com, and Trey was willing to open the box and check for defects I was worried about. Does ease the purchasing process when quality can be verified. |

We're up to 60 signers/ We've hit a bit of a plateau so I'm going to encourage everyone who hasn't signed to do so now. I'm hoping to get 250 signers before I send it in. If Vibram takes notice, we'll hopefully see a long-term improvement in the quality of the VFFs we purchase. Really, the 2 minutes it takes to sign is quite worth it.

as an afterthought, if you get to speak to vibram can you mention the (lack of) effectiveness of the antimicrobial footbed since EVERYONE seems to get smelly shoes very quickly!
seems like a waste of money to me.

If I do, I will add it to the list of concerns, but I highly doubt it. I even considered throwing in a bit about foreign prices but I didn't want to divide the issue or their attention. I figured it was best to tackle the biggest concerns first. I'll try to throw something about it into the email when I send them the petition. I'll refer them here to look at our thread about VFF Defects and stink. |

I'm a little afraid I might have overshot with a goal of 250. We had a lot of activity the first day or two but the signing has come to a dead stop at 60. I'd like to edit the goal on the page but the site won't allow me to do so. Thoughts?
The Women's Trek petition garnered 184 signatures. This petition affects every single one of us, so I would think that the amount of people willing to sign would be higher.

It might be the interface. I looked at it once, then went back later to sign, and it wouldn't let me, saying I'd already signed. (Maybe I did, but I'm pretty sure I didn't.)
