After a response email from Vibram, I was told Vibram USA does have plans on carrying the SPEEDs. Not sure as of when, but regardless, this is a good thing  |

Awsome news, my wife wants a pink pair and I don't feel like spending $170.
Don't want to spoil your (wife's) fun, but from what it looks, the pink color won't stay very long (I might be wrong). The only place you can buy the pink Speed at the moment is at Vibram Europe's website. The are not in the 2011 catalogue, nor in the US list Kayakcentre gave us. Mind you the blue/white was rather exclusive at first, but now it will be hitting the streets everywhere soon. |

$170.00, don't know where you were looking at to buy speeds but i got mine from purekit (see birthdayshoes store) for 125.00 shipped to Alaska. Might be something to look at

The Color options to be released into the US: M's - Black/White W's - White/Blue or Blue/White - No Pink into the US.... |

I don't understand. The purekit web site currently lists the Speeds for £89.09 (£9.90 off their regular price). They ship to non-European destinations for £24.99. That works out to £114.08, which per Google's currently listed exchange rate is $181.65 USD (regular price would have been £98.99 plus £24.99 shipping for £123.98 = $197.41). So how did you manage to get such a good price on the Speeds? |
