and this is why i'm moving out of minnesota and going to washington state this sunday. hahah no more 8 months winters for me.

anyway, my last day of work is today, and yesterday my boss announced casual friday dress and as he walked by me he said, "...and no wearing your duck shoes"  oh come on!!! it's my last day!! hahahaha

Moving to Washington state, so you are trading snow for rain and banana slugs.  Congrats on the move.  Surely you are not moving just to escape our obnoxiously long winters.  If so, you'd likely have chosen somewhere further South.

If I move, I've already decided that I'm going to move to Costa Rica to become a banana farmer. If I'm moving to get away from winter, I'm going all out.

since everyone assumes moving to washington means the seattle area, i will correct the assumption by being more specific.  i am moving to the tri-cities in south central.  less moisture, more good weather.  and thanks for the congrats, i'm really looking forward.

Depends on the colour, of course. My Orange Treksports are very duck-like.

I spent a summer in Anacortes, of course it was several years ago.  That's the extent of my Washington State experience.  Glad to hear there are better conditions further South.
