I've been wearing black Tough Gloves since they were introduced. This pair is finally starting to die after use in a warehouse setting, five days a week, nine hour days. What are you guys and gals wearing? I'm curious if there is anything else out there?

Depending on the job you have, some are allowed to use fivrams, others not; I like the vibrams as other minimal shoes as long as my feet are not crounched and in pain.

I'm in my vivo oaks. They are great, and I've got plenty of space in the toebox without the heel being too loose. They have really good ground feel, 3.5mm sole which makes them a joy to wear around my office/lab.
The style is mocassin-like. They go well with jeans or a pair of khakis/brown casual pants. Maybe a little on the casual side for a warehouse, but they are great shoes. A little pricey, but they are very well put together.

I work in an office setting, so I use the Vivobarefoot RA, and sometimes the Oaks.
I've did noticed that Merrell is no longer making the Tough Glove and it seems to have been replaces with the Life Edge. I'm planning on trying a pair of those out at REI soon.

Vivobarefoot (Dharma,Ra, oak) is the most popular for minimalist officewear. There's also the Vivobarefoot Legacy which has not been out very long.
New Balance has a leather version of the Minimus MT10.
Merrell has also launched the radius glove and areach glove which are less formal but with a flatter sole.
Sanuk has the "Board room" leather version of their sidewalk surfer.
I found out that the Tough glove is still available outside the US.

The Legacy looks a little narrow in the toe box to me, but I could be wrong. I see Zappos has them, so you could try them and if you do not like them it is free shipping to return them.

How often does Soft Star tun sales? Think I've settled on Mocs but swallowing the high price is less than desirable.

Soft Star usually runs a sale in early spring. They get rid of all of their clearance and overstock. They progress in savings throughout the month, 20% the first week, then 30%, etc. If you want some of the newer models, you need to snatch them up in the first day or two.

I work in a medical center and I just bought some Bikilas since I do so much walking. I think the blue and grays would look good with scrubs!
