Not sure if this is the right place to post this. It is kind of an accessory in a way. Has anyone see the Vibram five fingers dog toys. I just bought my puppy the dog bone looking thing and the ball.
I had to laugh at the shoe bottom. Now why you would train your dog to chew something that looks identical to the sole of a shoe perplexes me. Seems like they would be attacking all your shoes then.
Had anyone else bought the dog toys? He seems to like his new ball and I think the dog bone will be good for teething. How long has yours lasted? Any other versions your puppy likes?

Check out http://www.vibramk9.com/http://www.vibramk9.com/products/vibram-8inch-stickThe sticks are great. He loves chewing on it. In fact he does not chew on the wood chairs when he has that around. YAY! He just went and got it and started chewing it. He has been pretty tough with it so far and there is no chunks missing, dents, or anything. Impressive really.

Cool, but none of those would last more then 5 minutes in my house.... Our pocket pit and APBT are heavy chewers. A "black series" extra large Kong only lasts a few hours of play. One of those "tire biter" tires or bones only lasts minutes as does Nylabones, Boda's, or fire-hose made toys........ We just got our pocket female a 3 foot long 2" diameter Boda (braided rope) on Saturday. It's already chewed through and the knots untied on the one end..... It's a good thing they love to cuddle and spend most of their time being couch potato's when not occupied playing in the back yard or we'd go broke.....

So far the Vibram has been stronger then the Kong toys I have bought. I had one of those black extreme Kongs and he took a chunk out of it after a day or so of play. Still no chips or dents or chew marks on the stick toy. I am actually kind of surprised it is holding up so well.

I saw these products quite some time ago and thought something along those same lines. Why teach them to chew something that resembles a shoe? If the rubber is durable, the balls are promising.

I would say they are durable. I have a little puppy that loves to gnaw on the bone style. He really had not taken a chunk out of it yet.
He normally can take little chunks out of the Kong toys. I have been impressed with the durability.
He seems to run and get the bone to gnaw on when his teeth hurt. Before this bone he would use my wooden chair legs in the kitchen.
The ball is nice as well. He enjoys passing it back and forth. No chunks or anything out of it yet.

I got my Rhodesian Ridgeback the Vibram frisbee. He LOVES this thing. It is easily his favorite toy. He's had it for almost a year and can't put a dent in this. He chews on it endlessly but can't destroy it. I'll definitely look into getting him more toys.

I didn't know vibram made dog toys I am going to order some for my puppies. I have 2 silky terrier puppies that chew through almost anything hopefully these will last a bit more than most other toys.

The stick or the bone is my dogs favorite toy now. He chews on it all the time. Still not real chunks taken out of it or anything, Quite impressive really.
