Has anyone tried this (it is less than one week old on the market)? It has asymmetric lacing, unlike VFFs.

Also, it is pretty discreet in the two tone grey option, unlike Komodosports.

Supposedly, it is 6.60 oz, which puts it at a lighter weight than the Komodosport LS. However, the original Adipure trainer was not meant for outdoor use and I wonder if this is any different.

EDIT May 28th: The Bikila LS is lighter and I believe it's the same sole as the normal Adipure trainer which means it isn't as grippy as Komodosports or Bikilas. Also, the more toeshoes Adidas creates the more likely we are to get more mainstream manufacturers of moisture-wicking toesocks besides Injinji.

Vibram really needs to get a new "shoe artist." These shoes look 100x nicer then any of the VFF's!!!

Probably my one complaint to Vibram.

These do look pretty nice.  I will stick with VFFs though.

The toes look allot like the Sorrento's I got.  I will admit this style looks very nice.  I have never tried their shoes though so I don't know how the sole really preforms.  They look pretty nice though.

Look pretty good. Better for everyone the more mainstream minimalist/toe shoes become, more choice and cheaper prices. I predict there is a tipping point the big boys are worried about and they're making sure they are ready when it happens...

I just noticed: the asymmetric lacing opens up at the big toe rather than at the pinky toe, unlike for Skora & Keen (most notably in the Keen Ochoco). However, the direction is similar to the Asics GEL Nimbus.

and google randomly brought up this guy, http://www.linkedin.com/pub/ryan-crislip/3/97b/310
