I can't believe how light these things are. I know they list the weight on their website but it's shocking holding them in my hand, there is nothing to them. They almost feel lighter than my VFF Speed's. I real like them overall. The material is a bit funky in that it kind of pops back and fourth when it deforms around the toe box when you walk and can look a little funny in the way that the material flexes around that area as well but that is small potatoes. I got the all black with the orange/yellow color laces and they look really good in person. I never thought I would buy a pair of New Balance shoes but I really like these things. They came in the mail just a few days after my STEM's did. It's good to have choices of what to wear in the morning.  Grin

Are these even more minimal than the Minimus?

I am not sure what you are asking? I think they are lighter than the majority of the Minimus line but the heal toe drop is the same I think. I think they drop 4mm from heal to toe. Sorry, that's probably not what you meant but I am not familiar with any of the other shoes in the Minimus line.

You got it right I believe that is what they were asking.

The NB Minimus Tail have the smallest heel-to-toe drop of the minimus line at 4mm.

The NB store I went to had a chart of the drop in different lines. I posted it somewhere in the forum...
