It's finally time for me to wash my Stems.

Has anyone washed theirs yet? If so, what do you find is the best way? A good ol' spin in the washer and air dry? Or is it better to hand-scrub?

The outside is clean, its the inside (since I wear no socks) that needs a good scrubbing.

Thanks!

I would say hand wash if it's the inside that's getting funky.  I threw mine in the washing machine, which was great for getting dirt off, but they were still pretty stinky afterward (I actually ended up rewashing the other stuff in that load because I was paranoid about my clothes smelling like dirty feet Smiley ).

I put mine in the washing machine, then air dry.

I ended up hand-scrubbing the inside with hot water, a toothbrush and antibacterial soap.  Then put them in front of a fan to air dry.

It's so much fun being able to wring out a pair of shoes!

I put my first pair thru the wash a couple times! They were just fine.  Before I even got a chance to wash them though they came apart at the top (a common threading defect).  I wore them and washed them just fine until I finally stopped being lazy and emailed the company for a new pair.  Their customer service has me hooked for life!

Wash em like you do your VFF's.. I spray em with that Rank away stuff I got for free (McNett), then put em in a garment bag and air dry =)
