if you put that on a black American apparel shirt. I'll buy two at least. Or one white and one black. If you put a sticker out, i'll buy 5.
Keep in mind, i'm a 20 year old with a part time job who has a love for these shoes. There's your demographic for me lol.

Some good ideas being thrown around here...! If you like the shirt on vibram's website, I'd recommend buying it. I got it for free as a promo and it is one of the most comfortable t-shirts I own (really soft organic cotton - great lean fit too!)
Just throwing that out there!

Cool! What are you thinking of doing with that?
(It seems too dense with information for a t-shirt, but might make a good card to hand out.)

Actually I was thinking tshirt ... but yeah it's too dense! Needs to be edited down for a shirt.
Hmm ...

I like the idea a lot. Just two minor suggestions.
1) Change the x's to "times" in the first paragraph.
2) Alter the third paragraph slightly: Do you really thing that such a piece of organic architecture could be improved by wrapping your feet in the high-heeled, constricting, mono-toed contraption that is the modern sneaker?
Sorry if I'm a bit nitpicky. I do love it though. Looks awesome Justin.
As far as a t-shirt goes, maybe you could try "The human foot is made up of hundreds of tiny specialized parts that make it an efficacious piece of machinery, forged to run. You think foam and rubber can improve on that?"

You think that's nitpicky? This is good feedback -- let me see what I can do ...

How about we all just stick birthdayshoe.com stickers on top of our VFFs? It won't cut down on the stares, but will tell people where to go for more info without having to talk to you.

If you can paste the text by itself here, I'd be willing to take a stab at shrinking it down. (I'm pretty good at that sort of thing, if I do say so myself.)

The HUMAN FOOT consists of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, 7,000 nerve endings, and 250,000 sweat glands. The skin on the sole of your foot is 20X thicker than anywhere else on your body. The downward force on the foot while running is some 4X one’s bodyweight.
An engineering feat accomplished over the course of hundreds of thousands of years of evolution, the human foot is an amazing piece of equipment.
Do you really think such a complicated bit of organic machinery could be improved by wrapping it in high-heeled, constricting, monotonously mono-toed, and clunky sneakers?
There’s a better solution: FREE YOUR FEET.

Two versions...
The HUMAN FOOT consists of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, 7,000 nerve endings, and 250,000 sweat glands.
Protected by skin 20 times thicker than anywhere else on your body, the foot easily supports the four-fold weight of a running body.
Hundreds of thousands of years of evolution created this amazing organic machine.
Improve by wrapping it in high-heeled, constricting, mono-toed, and clunky sneakers?
There’s a better solution: FREE YOUR FEET.
The HUMAN FOOT has 5 toes, 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, and 7,000 nerve endings, and evolved over thousands of years.
Most SHOES are mono-toed high-heeled constricting overpadded clumsy BOXES
Improve this amazing piece of organic machinery by wearing such shoes? Does that make sense?
There’s a better solution: FREE YOUR FEET.

Hm. I think I prefer the original model. Though I do like the first half of your second modified version. So maybe a compromise would look like this:
The HUMAN FOOT consists of: 5 toes, 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles, and 7,000 nerve endings, and evolved over thousands of years.
Do you really thing that such a piece of organic architecture could be improved by wrapping your feet in the high-heeled, constricting, mono-toed contraption that is the modern sneaker?
There's a better way: FREE YOUR FEET

It's still too much text for a shirt. I don't want people stopping me for 5 minutes while they try to read what's on my shirt.
