Just stumbled across these, they look pretty good although possibly could get a bit sweaty. Really cheap though, not sure how good an alternative to Vibrams they could be, but certainly look to be an alternative from a price perspective.

It's an interesting concept.  They are super minimal.  Look like they would be the equivalent of a plastic/latex zem.  It says they are breathable, but I just don't get how.

Not bad for only $13 bucks plus whatever it would take to ship to the states.

They look like latex version of a wooden clog.  The toe box looks small.  They say it should be a skin tight fit.  Unfortunately I am in between their sizes.  I would wear a 42-43 sometimes a 44 depending on the shoe.  I could order a medium or large.  One would probably be too big and the other would probably be too small.  Also something stuck me as interesting on the site.

"Product essence comes from the millenary Amazon Wild Forest indigenous inhabitant’s concept, who painted their feet soles with natural latex, obtained on the Hevea trees, this enabling their movements through the jungle during rain season. This fine latex layer degrades naturally going back to the local environment once used … "

I wonder how long they will last for.  Biodegradable things often don't last all that long.

I also don't get how they could be breathable at all.  The materials they are made out of are notoriously no porous.  I would imagine your foot would get sweaty and slippery in that shoe much like the other Latex shoes I have seen out.

Hmmm agree although tempted to give them a go given the price. I suspect even the large size won't fit me though sadly.
