I have now had my Vivobarefoot Brooklyn's since October(i believe) and the other day there was quite a few puddle from rain and snow.  Even with socks on it took me ten minutes to get my boots off because the moisture created a suction =/

My "waterproof" boots are no longer waterproof.  They easily get soaked just by walking out to the car now.  Any ideas what I could do to stop this?  Not sure what happened and it's not like I'm rough on my footwear.  There's nothing I hate more than wet feet in shoes though.

Use Liquid Aquaseal.  I get it from Campmor they don't make it but they stock it. It is cheap, lasts a long time, makes leather feel more supple, and does a good job at waterproofing my Bormio.

Thanks!

I've heard talk about Shoo Goo as well, do you know much about this?  The reason I ask is that I believe that there must be a small separation between the sole of my boot and the leather and I'm thinking that this might be part of the problem as well.  Will definitely get the Aquaseal just in case too though, I can think of quite a few shoes I could put that on.

Shoe Goo works great.  I had a bit of the separation of the top of the leather from the sole in the big toe of my Trek LS.  It took me about 30 minutes to get it applied the way I felt was proper.  I used a small toothpick to slowly push bits of the Shoe Goo into the separation.  Then I stuck a piece of paper inside the toe so it put pressure on the leather against the sole and left it over night.  I have not had any separation issue since.  You would never know I did it.  Take your time though because it is gooey and you don't want to look sloppy Wink
