Hi just joined the forum......been barefoot running for a while now in the stunning hills of New Zealand....looking to hear tales from other barefoot runners hitting the tracks and trails all over this world..

Hi there! I'm from Azores, just about the exact oposite end of the world! and from all accounts, the most similar place to New Zealand there is (in miniature scale), LOL!
Haven't tried running trails barefoot yet! my feet are still to thin and weak, but been walking them instead! this summer did everything on my spyridons! even a 2 day camping/fishing trip in wild Fire Lake. Was super fun to go over all the crazy terrain with 15kg on my back and lots of heavy waterproof clothes, plus the fish we caught! now THAT's forced propioception, hahaha!
