I just got a pair of used bikilas (for a great price so the little off in fitting was worth it). They're sized 41 and I'm a 40 in komodos LS so I was wondering if there's a way to shrink the bikilas a little as of now I can get all my middle toes out of the pockets if I scrunch them up, but I have very little room behind the heel. They don't feel like they're going to fall off, but I haven't ran in them yet. I'm think maybe a wash in fairly warm water with an air dry or maybe use a hair dryer.

I wouldn't think shrinking them would be possible. You might be able to get the fabric to get a little smaller, but the soles won't change.

I suggest some injinji socks.  You risk blisters if you have VFFs that are too big.
