I truthfully feel that the sizing is lacking true definition.  Length of foot is just not accurate enough.  My foot is 10 3/4 but that does not mean I compare your anyone elses 10 3/4.  Someone may be wider or narrower, someone may be higher or flatter, toes could be short and stubby so most of the length is madeup by the foot, others could have toes (like PatrickGSR) that practically look like fingers so more of the length is made up by the toes.

All of these have to be taken account when sizing.

My foot measure 10.25 inches.  I am on par with M40 KSOs and M41 Classics and Sprints.  I am not even close on Speeds and Komodosport LS.  I had to up-size to M42 to gain width and a comfortable fit.

It looks like narrow feet fit slightly smaller than the chart and wide feet slightly larger?

I am +1 over the chart size and +2 on some of the newer models like the Komodo's and Speed's in part due to my wide feet.

Foot measures at just over 10.375 but not by much. My size is on par with the KSO W42, not quite right with the M41 black, Speed is a M42, tried the M41 it was way tight, Bikila LS is a M41, haven't tried the W42 yet, will try that next time I am in AL.

Both times that ive measured it came to be a M43, so that is what I bought. I plan on trying a M43 for whatever pair I decide to get next as well.

I was fortunate to have both pairs of VFF's fitted in a shop, and I tried on quite a few types while I was there. I originally bought size W40 black KSO's - which were a snug fit.  I bought these without having socks on, after a time I realised my toes got too cold sockless, and they were too tight wearing socks, so I sold them.

I went back and tried on Bikilas, Treksports, Komodos, Jaya and Speeds in varying sizes, and the M41 Speeds were by far the most comfortable of all, and did not pinch me across the foot width like the W41. I think the M41 Bikilas by contrast were too big.

I fit size 8 (42) shoes usually. If I recall, my feet are around 265mm length, my toes aren't long, but I do have Morton's toe (or rather shorter big toe) on both feet.

Feet 9 5/8 inches, including Morton's toe, the chart is bang on in my case. However I chose to go for the W39 in most of my Classics and Sprints (instead of the suggested 40) since I prefer to stretch the second toe and a snugger heel cup instead of having a 1st toe with a long toe pocket and a bigger heel cup. But they both fit.

I am very similar to Horse Rider.  My measurement is 9.75 inches with my morton's toe.  I match the chart completely. W40 in everything except Jaya LRs, which are a W41.  My black KSOs are quite snug, but I recently tried the W41 and they were too big.
