SO i feel like the thick neoprene part of the KSO that goes over my midfoot is too tight.  The length seems fine, but i need some more volume.  i was thinking about cutting it.  I don't use the velcro strap at all since it is so tight, and maybe after cutting it i would need to.  Going up a size is not a question as i'm already in the size 48.  Although they are black KSOs and it sounds like the other colors may be looser.  are other colors longer or have more volume?

How long ago did you get them? There's no chance of sticking something in there for a few days to stretch them out for you? I commonly do that with new shoes I buy because of my wide toe spread...

I had a similar problem with my Bikila's and did the following:

no problem since then, so maybe the same might work for you
