Just wanted to share my bedazzled Jayas!

Edited to include another pair of painted Jaya LR's... I loved them but regretted getting the Almond/Copper color combo because with the perforated leather it looked way too much like Band-Aids and I never wore them. I didn't do a perfect job but I'm much happier with them now and wear them all the time.

Nice.  Now I know Elvis could pull off a pair of VFF.  I like the Red color I think that was a good choice.  Were you in the wedding or just attending?

Big congratulations on your wedding then!  I like the paint job you did.  I would agree that I think the color is a little band-aid like.  I still think it looks fantastic though.  What type of paint did you use in order to do that?

Thanks- those were actually the reception shoes, I wore my Performa Janes for the ceremony. I used an acrylic paint marketed for leather and sold at leatherworking shops, just because that's what I had on hand. But I don't really notice a difference between that and regular acrylic paint (except that the leather shops jack up the price), so I'd imagine you can use the cheap stuff.

You should post all the pictures.  Would love to see the dress and everything.  It could make a good user submitted story for the Birthday Shoes website.
