Hello,

I am a returning runner and have been running in a pair of VFF Bikila LS shoes since August. I used to run a lot, for years, and while training for a marathon once, my right knee gave out from underneath me. I attempted to get back into running, and each time I did, my knee would give way. I stopped running for years afterwards.

I decided to try running one more time, and this time with a minimalist shoe. I started running in my VFFs slowly, and I'm happy to say my knees and hips have never felt better! But I've recently been experiencing some pretty consistent pain in my inner calves. I'm hoping I might find some advice here on this forum!

I currently live in Spokane, or Spokompton/Spokanistan, as it's lovingly referred to by many. Wink

Thank you for asking! The pain has gotten a little worse, actually. I'm taking a week to rest, icing, taking ibuprofen, trying a myriad of stretches...hopefully it all works. I have a 5k to run next weekend! I might end up walking it. :-/
