So, a few years ago, I saw some crazy new shoes advertised in a rock climbing magazine. You guessed it, FiveFingers. Unlike some, I immediately loved them and decided to look them up. I completely forgot about them and about a month ago, something made me think of them again (not really sure what). I googled "toe shoes" and found what I was looking for. I visited Vibram's site and checked out all the models. While there, I saw all the technology, news, faqs and such and decided to start  researching these sweet kicks. I only found good about them and decided I had to have a pair (or two, or three) and went back to the Vibram site for the store locator. I found a place nearby and went in to try some on. The place was actually so low on stock that I couldn't buy the Black KSO's I so badly wanted. They did have a pair of the Camouflage Flows and after trying them on and seeing the higher price, I decided to wait for some KSO's due to some stitching that was coming undone. As I mentioned this to the store manager, he said he would give me them for $60 versus the retailed $90. I couldn't let that offer pass. An easy stitching job fixed the problem and I've been wearing them as much as I can ever since. Its rather cold in Northern Utah at this time of the year, so I bought some Injinji socks and I try to wear them as often as its not snowing or when I'm not at work (I'm a machinist, so they aren't too welcomed in that heavy duty environment).

I was in Phoenix for a week and stopped in a local dealer to find some KSO Treks. Luckily, the place had just received a new shipment and I was able to buy me some new black KSO Treks.

I have recently picked up the hobby of Slacklining (before I bought the shoes) and am excited to try them out on the line. Even though barefoot is the preferred method of the Slack (really, when isn't barefoot preferred?), I still want to try it. Sadly, I might just have to wait until the snow melts to play with them more.

I can't wait for the Spring and to contribute to this great forum and cause!

Trevor.

Hello Utah! That's my home stomping grounds! I talked my sister into getting some KSOs I think she found them at the REI there.
