Hello, newb to VFFs

Hello, new to the forum, just wanted to say hello.  I've almost always worn flip flops or been barefoot until a recent move.  The cold winters here (Kansas) mean that I can't really get away with flip flops, I also recently started a part time job in the evenings that require closed toe shoes.  I tried a sneaker and was in agony after having worn them for a brief time.  I started researching why I might be experiencing so much pain from a shoe that "fit" and stumbled across barefoot running websites and naturally the VFFs.  I tried them out and fell in love.  No one at my part time job has said anything, and I am no longer experiencing the foot pain I had with the sneaker.  They also seem warm enough to me for the winter here.  Started looking for other styles and found the forum.  Look forward to learning and helping where I might be able to.
