Hello All! My name is Tony and I've just recently discovered Five Fingers. How you ask? Well I work at Best Buy and this girl came up to the cashier to check out and I saw some weird looking "gloves" on her feet, I asked her what those were all about, that same day I checked the website (Vibram's and Birthdayshoes) and fell in love instantly, and the very next day I went to the local shop REI to try these crazy contraptions on, to put it short, I feel in love instantly. REI didn't have the size or Style I wanted but at least i knew my size (which is a 43) I plan on ordering some Trek Sports this weekend and see how that goes. I heard they run kind of big? So do i need to get a bigger or smaller size? Any feedback would be great thanks!

I can't wait to follow in all your "footsteps" Wink Take care!

Welcome! Smiley

I don't have the Trek Sports, but I wouldn't automatically assume they run big/small.  How did you come up with your size?  If it was via the "Big Red Foot" you may want to go to the Vibram site and watch the video on measuring (the BRF isn't accurate).  If it was by trying on a pair, you're probably good to go.

I read a couple reviews and some people said they ran kind of big, not sure if that was accurate or not, but i'll be finding a store out here that carries them to try them on. I went to REI and tried on the KSO Treks, all they had was a size 44 and it had too much "Extra" in the toes, so Right now i'm assuming i'm a 43, but i'm going to go to a few more places and try on different sizes to be completely sure. Thanks for the warm welcome! Smiley

Welcome Aboard. As for sizing I have found that once you find your number stick with it, I own sprints, KSO, Trek, Flows and Mocs all size 41 and I am happy with the fit. But if you tried on size 43 and they fit good you might have found your magic number. Cheesy

I tried on a 43 today (KSO Treks) and they fit pretty well, kind of had a tiny bit of room in the toes, but they didn't feel loose, so i'm assuming that's probably good? I tried their "Five Finger" shoe thing (the thing made of rubber that looks like a foot) and it said i'm roughly a 41-42, But they didn't have any 42's to try on, which still make's me skeptical on what size i need until i've tried on all the sizes to get a better "feel" of what i'll be comfortable with. I know i can work with a 43, but i want to be sure Smiley

I really want the new VFF SPeed shoes, they look slick, can't wait to order those soon Smiley After i know my definite size. Thanks for all the info!
