Little north of Baltimore. Wink New here, new to barefoot running, and new to VFFs. I've tried barefoot running the past few weeks and I love it, and I am dying to go out tomorrow and buy my first pair of VFFs (Sprints or KSOs I'm thinking). I never ever enjoyed running while wearing shoes, and I liked it so much barefoot (minus the blisters, ouch) that I can't wait to try fivefingers. My calves are killing me! In a good way I think. Who knew shoes held you back so much. Tongue

Anyway hello to everyone, I've enjoyed reading your experiences and I hope to add my own shortly!

Hola and welcome.  Hope you find a pair you like and enjoy them.  My calves are sore too, but not as bad as a few weeks ago.  Slowly waking up the legs and feet!   Smiley

Thank ya both! I went out to find a pair today but they seem to be all fairly limited in stock and don't have colors I want. So I tried some on and got a feel, I guess I'll have to order them!

Check City Sports online!  I just ordered a pair of Bikilas today, and they have a store downtown in Baltimore by the Inner Harbor if you need to return them.  You may try getting two pair, your size and one smaller or larger, and return the one that doesn't fit.  Hola from MD too by the way, I'm in Hanover, by Arundel Mills Mall... Good luck!

Hey! Nice to see another Marylander in here. Actually though I have ordered and received the Sprints and I love them. But if I get more into it, which I'm sure I will, I'll end up getting Bikilas eventually. Tongue Thanks for the tip.

Just wanted to say hello from yet another Marylander!  I'm in St. Mary's County, about an hour southeast of DC.  I've had two other sightings in the area so VFF's are beginning to catch on down here!
