Hi, I just received my first VFF Classic black yesterday and immediately took it to my Yoga lessons. It worked out perfectly. So I'm thinking which version to buy next: - black KSO
- black KSO Trek
- black Speed
- white/red Bakila
I want to re-start running in the new second model. Which one would you propose to get? Droffen

What type of running do you want to do?
Trails/Offroad - Treks Pavement - Bikilas/Speeds
KSO's are great for both I frequently run on the trails and the road in them. I do have a pair of Bikilas and I am loving them and haven't put on my pairs of KSO's but I am sure they will have a purpose... Rainy muddy days mostly.
More questions.
Are you looking to run longer distances or more of just hey I want to get in shape running?

Want to Start Running again to get back in shape and weight (100kg actually). Max. 10 km both on pavement and offroad.

Well if traction wouldn't be an issue the I recommend the KSO. The Bikila would do well on the trails as well but I think it would tear easily if you were to get to close to a branch or sharp rocks. The only pair I do not have are the Treks so I can't speak from experience here. Treks are great on the trails from what I hear but I am not sure how they handle on the road. Anyone speak from experience?

contrary to popular belief, the treks are great all around. they handle pavement and the sort very well, but at the same time they provide all the traction and support needed for trails. and they leather. it feels amazing!! its so soft and buttery smooth its amazing, but at the same time theyre very durable. very very well made shoe by vibram.

okay so I think I'll follow your proposals to buy the KSO next. Also if I read trough all the threads and discussions the KSO seems to be the most allround VFF also suitable very well for running.
Will try to get a full black pair. Let's see.

What do you propose in case of heavy sweating feet? Leather or not i.e. Trek or Bakila/Speed/KSO?

Though all models are machine washable, there's a lot of talk about keeping VFF's clean. For especially sweaty feet, I might still gravitate to the KSO's, since they seem more water and cleaning friendly than Bikilas or Treks. I haven't found room in my budget for Treks yet, so I can't speak from experience there. The Bikilas feel GREAT for running, but the KSO's are more go-anywhere. You'll feel the ground more with KSO's too...for better and worse.

Thanks for your help.
