Hey everyone!
Got my first pair of VFF Bikila's after reading over this site.  I've been a runner/lacrosse/hockey player for about 10 years now.  I did my first mini-run tonight and loved it.  Totally different muscles being use and it's an awesome feeling.

Been taking it slow and plan on slowly stepping up.  Very excited to see the change in my sports, if any, after running in these bad boys for a while.

Cheer folks!

Welcome.  Enjoy your shoes, this site and the wealth of knowledge it and it's members contain.  I know you already touched on it, but please do transition slowly.  There are a lot of threads regarding TMTS or too much too soon injuries.  Search them out and read up to learn what others found out the hard way.

If you do a search there is also a thread called Texas roll call.

So be sure when you step.
Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act.
Just never forget to be dexterous and deft.
And never mix up your right foot and your left.
