1  General Category / Birthdayshoes.com General Discussion / I really want these shoes! on: June 18, 2010, 05:20:25 AM
Whelp, I returned my Sprints today (which I purchased the day before). They were just too tight around my Achilles. I asked if they had Bikilas, but not in my size unfortunately - and they'd only gotten the horribly bright pink/orange ones in anyway. That'd be all well and good if I was planning on just using them for running/walking, but I need them to at least moderately match!

Then I checked another store with a big sign about it out front, but they hadn't even gotten any in women's sizes in their shipment! What I particularly want is W37 grey/green Bikilas. Arrrgh why can't I just order them online? So frustrating.

Favorite Zelda game? Smiley

My favorite Zelda game is probably Ocarina of Time. Didn't finish Majora's Mask, and while I liked Twilight Princess, Ocarina just has so much replay value - not that you can do much after you win the game but it's just so fun to play over again. I'm really looking forward to the new one coming out for the Wii.

Hello, my name is Chrissy! I'm 20 years old, and I live in Boise Idaho. I'm an independent contractor - I work online and what not, although it's not for lack of trying to find a "normal" job! Problem is, without a car, I'm stuck booking it on my Chevro-legs. ... Lambor-feeties? ... No? Okay.

I have had dreadlocks since November and I love them. My hobbies include mastering the internet, video games (Resident Evil, Zelda, Pokemon, etc), drawing (self-portraits, odd creatures, stacks of pancakes), and reading (Stephen King, Alan Moore, circus fiction).

After a fierce and life-long loathing of PE and running, I recently started Couch-to-5K! I'm starting week 4 in the morning, and I'm actually enjoying it. I'm 5'4", a little over 120 pounds, and not necessarily trying to lose weight - but I could stand to gain some muscle and get my lazy butt up and moving.

Oh and here's the link to my profile thing, which answers any questions regarding my incredibly limited experience with Vibram (though I'm hoping to change that!) - http://birthdayshoes.com/forum/member-profiles/latchkeygirl/

Sooo yep. Hullo!

Edit: Oh, and before anyone asks, I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to be running right away in my FFs yet. I'll probably complete the C25K program in my regular shoes, doing that every other day, while I go for an hour or so walk with the FFs on the off days. Once I complete the program, I'll figure out where I want to go from there.
