what's more important, for you to like the color or for your girl to not hate it? That being said, I personally like the green/gray combo. If you're wearing five fingers, might as well have them stand out. I don't know why they don't have the same color combo for us girls
Their return policy is simply amazing! Return things if you're ever unsatisfied with them for any reason pretty much. My fiancée returned shoes once because they weren't wearing right about a year and a half after buying them. The tread was still very good but the uppers have begun falling apart. They took them back without any questions and were just as surprised as us that such a thing happened to the shoes. We are members, so we didn't even need a receipt for it.
Thanks for the review! I was looking forward to these for a bright colored, KSO like pair to wear on the weekends (I wear my all black pair to work and don't want to destroy them), but it seems like I might have to opt for one of the other KSO colors.
I am also one of those people who loves my KSOs more that my other pairs, depending on what I'm doing of course. I find them to be best for me just for walking around since their soles feel the thinnest and most malleable. I also own the TrekSports, which I got for hiking, and smartwool classics, which I wear almost every day and wish that Vibram kept the same sole on them as on my KSO.
I was informed of this yesterday at a trade show where I had the opportunity to see the Fall 2011 line - coming out in Aug 2011. Some interesting new things...
I don't own either, but my guess would be that the difference would be the same as with KSO and KSO treks. Thicker sole = more removed from ground = less feel but further away from the cold (or so it would seem).
I believe that's a well documented "feature" by now. Just throw your shoes through a cold wash cycle and let them air dry. So far that's worked for me.
With the holiday coming up [in US] and lots of people spending time with their families and loved ones, I was wondering what role our beloved VFFs will play.
I'll start off by saying that I'm traveling up to NY from MD wearing my black KSOs and not bringing any other shoes with me. I'm sure the family will think they're "wild" or something. Most of them don't know much, if anything, about these shoes.
