Thanks for the advice guys, I'll wear them another day or two and see what I think.  Wore them for a good four hours today at an outdoor party with plenty of running and my I think they might be softening up. But I'll keep an eye on them.

Just got my first pair of Black KSOs today in the mail (Size 39) and they fit wonderfully! Or at least for a while they did.  My big toe just barely rubs the front end of it's pocket but all of my other toes have more than plenty of room, my pinky feels like it takes up a little more than half of its pocket, my smaller toes actually feel like they're just barely big enough to be comfortable in the shoes (but this is most likely me just being silly)

My problem is I think my left foot may be wider than my right now, because the rubber (the high part behind the big toe that comes up to the Vibram logo on the top of the shoe) began to rub my foot raw.  This doesn't bother me with my socks but after about two hours in them without socks, it began to feel pretty raw.

Mind you that is the only problem with anything at all from what I can tell.  So should I size up?  I'm just worried that if I did my other toes wouldn't fill the pockets very well.  Or will the shoe just wear off right there eventually?  Just an added bit of information if anyone needs to know, measuring my foot the proper way it's exactly 10''

Preemptive thank you to anyone who happened to even poke in and read Smiley

Our local golf course is about half dead too now because of our water restrictions.  Things haven't been too great this summer for the leafy green stuff :/

Smiley Hello Birthday Shoes!

My name is Jacob and I live in just about the center of Texas.  I just ordered my first pair of VFFs (Black KSOs, size 39 on account of my tiny feet...) yesterday and personally can't wait for them to be here!  I've had problems with my sciatic nerve and back/neck since the 7th grade (now a Senior in High School) so I'm hoping I get the relief that I've been hearing so much about, because chiropractors and posture changes only help so much.  I've been working on my foot strength by running barefoot some on and off but I don't have a whole lot of places to run with no shoes right now (on account of the heat and the fact that the only grass in my area is very brittle and cuts because it's actually weeds.)  Can't wait to enjoy these shoes and the reactions I'll get from my town, which is pretty far behind the times...
