I just purchased Bikilas a couple of weeks ago (my first pair of VFF!) and I had a similar issue. The instep felt just a little too tight, so I tried one size larger in the Women's, but they were too big. I then tried on a pair of the Men's shoes in the comparable size as the original pair I tried on, and they fit perfectly! I am bummed that I don't have a pair of snazzy pink and orange Bikilas, but the blue and grey ones are almost as nice
Good for you, it is not always as easy to find such a perfect fit.
only had time to go walk the dog around the block, some 20mins of fast walk. don't seem like they'll rub anywhere, very light and easy to slip the foot on. Thick enough to walk over rocks... I'd dare run as well, but only if at a very short, flat pace. Did a shortcut down a large grass ramp! was wet and lumpy but no slipage! mainly cos they're so flexible I can actually "grab" the ground with my foot. and the cooles thing: they are soooooooo snug against the foot that I was able to "ninja walk" the whole block. Even the dogs only heard me when I was 5 feet from them. smooooooooth! =D will test them running 4k tomorow mornin. =D
How long are your feet? are they true to size? The near by store does not have them but I do not want to risk it with the sizing.
I have not tried on the treksport, but you are right, the models have different sizing. For example, the speeds I have tried have been as if M40 is the same as W40. The spyridos in m40 were tooooooo big withwise so I could not buy them. The bikilas I have tried in M40 have been just fine. So, the models do vary.
The white are sized up to W42, but you can use them in 41 or 42, that is deppending on how high arched or fat toed you are; they are just like the bilkilas, and if you have narrow feet, then there would be no problem at all, speeds are "the" model.
