Up until finally getting off my rear and creating an account, I've enjoyed this great site as a lurker for over the past year. I've been researching VFF's for at least that long, and finally pulled the trigger on a pair of non-LS Spyridons three weeks ago. I absolutely love them! They have been wonderful on the trails that run throughout the greenbelts in our neighborhood. I've been blessed with living about 30 miles from Mount Rainier National Park, and have taken the Spyridons there and put them through their paces on some hikes with zero complaints. (I plan on getting some pics up of me in the park with VFFs soon.) So profound were the Spyridons effect on me, I did what anybody in my position would do-- purchase a second pair! I went with KSOs for their "all-rounder" qualities, and I have to say, I love them too! I've been officially bitten by the VFF bug!
