I've been looking for some other alternatives for VFFs, and I've come across this shoe.

Has anyone had prior experience with this shoe? How would you compare them to KSOs? I'm also wondering how much grip the 2mm street sole would offer.

Thanks,
Matt

I like the Dash a lot, much more than the original RunAmoc.  I've got 17 miles on the Dash right now. It feels very comfortable, more so than my Bikila LS.  It has amazingly good grip on wet metal, which I find bizarre because it's not siped like the KSOs, but I'm not complaining.  Ground feel is almost the same as the KSOs.  I miss the individual toe pockets, but my feet feel freer in the Dash.

Nice and roomy!  You can actually request narrow, regular, or wide width.  I have the 8A which basically matches my size 8 men's foot.  At that shoe size, the regular width will accommodate a foot that is 3 3/4ths to 4 inches wide. Narrow width is for a 3 1/2 inch width.  Not sure what the wide width will cover.

The folks at SoftStar are really nice and very helpful via email and on the phone.  That's how I found out about the different widths.  I also have the Moc3, but that only comes in one width at the moment.

I got the RunAmoc Dash Lite with the perforated leather and the 2mm sole.
