Hi, this is just to say that I am glad to be back ...
After nearly a year of major house remodelling, heavy boots and no mood for running, I did my first trail run in AGES on Saturday. Beautiful, refreshing 2 km straight out of the house door, mild frost, very sunny .. I found myselsf grinning like an idiot while running :-)
By the way, Treks are great even on ice - I felt like a gecko!

Great to have you back. One nice thing about being away is re-discovering the joy when you come back.  I'm with you too about enjoying the treks in winter.  I love it when it's warm enough to get to put them on for a run.  Plus I love leaving footprints in the snow

Trek sole on ice? Must be my Bormio isn't broken in enough, it slides on cement with ice (i.e. the clear one).

I have to admit to being a wuss lately ... went for a run in conventional shoes today, as I did not want to mess up my clean Treks on a very muddy trail. I did regret a bit ( but still it was a good 3 km).
