We are talking about VFFs on my Jiu jitsu forum, and someone posted this as a testimony to the ignorance in the world.

This video is amazingly bad.

How about the guy that said marathoner Patrick Makau is a heel striker.  Every video on the web shows with with a almost simultaneous midfoot strike.  I love how it's bad to run on the balls of you feet because of the unnecessary strain it puts on your calves...  lol

Believe it or not when I started wearing VFFs I didn't get any calf burn so I thought I was doing it wrong.

Turns out that it was because I was going barefoot almost all the time and forefoot striking in normal running shoes.

Regardless, if you took caliper measurements or just felt my calves they have gotten stronger.
