After about a year in my Bikilas, I have decided that I just can't use them. They are good, don't get me wrong. It's just that they don't fit my feet quite right, though they should. They aren't loose at all, and my toes can fully extend comfortably. I think my issue is with the heel construction. For whatever reason on my left heel it rubs against my Achilles in a way that causes a blister within two laps of the running track. Ive tried body glide but that doesn't stop the blistering. For the gym, Bikilas are waaay to hot when wearing even the thinnest injinji socks. My feet are soaked after a workout. It's a shame because I did like running in them on pavement and light trails, but after a year they still really bother my heel (only on my left foot, weird).

I'm looking at grabbing a pair of seeya's, and if I don't like how they feel then I'll go with the KSO's again. I had them before but they fell apart, and the running store I went to only had Bikilas left in my size, so I went for them. I really tried them, and feel bad that I can't use them. I'll stick with my Komodosports until I can get to Edmonton.

Have you ever given any thought to the Speeds for your workout shoes?  I find them comfortable in the heel, same Bikila tread, and a little more breathable due to the mesh upper.  It is worth a shot.

I'll give them a try when I go to my VFF dealer (gotta get my fix, lol). If he has my size in I'll definitely try them on!

Well, gym shoe issue solved!

I bought a pair of black KSO's from Sportchek. I had about 6 people gather around me for the VFF chat after I grabbed them. Sportchek is now carrying Merrel barefoot shoes, the Adidas puretrainer, VFF Komodosports and now KSO. Cool! It makes finding Vibrams much much easier here in Canada.

I think I'll be seeing VFF wearers everywhere now!

I now have 378 miles on my Bikilas, including 129 miles in Afghanistan, according to my Garmin Forerunner watch, and I love them.
I have a short lived blister problem on both arches the first two or three times out but it is no longer a problem.
The only complaint I have is on the outside of the ball of my foot, the sole is starting to wear thru, but I reckon after a couple of years with them I cannot complain. I have two pairs of the Merrell trail shoes and I have sent both back (which they happily replaced) because they wore straight thru in less than two months.......
I love my Bikilas and am jonesing to buy my next pair!

LOVE mine. super comfortable! most comfortable shoes I own! Only down side is the very stiff sole under the toe joints wich makes it impossible to "grab" with your toes. I tried thinning t down with a drill but although they are better, I caused pressure points on the sole. Had to re-shape them 2 more times before getting it right. I wish they did a pair of bikilas with the seeya sole! now THAT would be perfect.
