Can you spot the prototype model of Vibram FiveFingers?  Is that a 2013 SeeYa LS (laced) we're seeing?The women's Altra Eve minimalist/barefoot running shoes from Altra Zero Drop Footwear.The women's Altra Eve from Altra (Zero Drop) Running are Altra's women-specific ultra-minimalist/barefoot running shoe.Left, a pair of "Suomy" Classic FiveFingers.  These were only made (nearest we can tell) in a one-off batch a few years back.  The Navy/White Classic FiveFingers are a European colorway that is slowly running out of stock.  Both are very hard to get if yoTwo rare pairs of Classic FiveFingers - rare because they can only be purchased through Europe, and one pair (the floral variety) were one-off VFFs made a few years back and are only available via eBay.Denmark flag-styled Olympic Classic FiveFingers ... coming sometime summer 2012?

The Merrell Barefoot Bare Access is a zero-dropped "transition" shoe from Merrell intended to be used as an intermediate tool to go from regular, heel-lifted and more cushioned running shoes to a more minimally soled, cushion-less shoe.A zero-dropped running shoe with an anatomically correct, upsized toe box, the Altra Instinct is a formidable running shoe, albeit not the most minimalist shoe around.

Coming Novemeber 2011 is the Adidas AdiPure Trainer, a five-toed shoe clearly taking aim at Vibram as it will be coming to market at a price of $90 at large-scale distribution via retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods, Foot Locker, and The Sports AuthorityPhotos of the TRUE Linkswear golf shoes, barefoot-minded footwear for golfers who want to "feel the course" through their feet.Christian Burke, an ultrarunner from California, has been tapped by Skechers to promote their upcoming entry into the (wannabe?) barefoot shoes/minimalist footwear category, the Skechers GoRun.The Vibram FiveFingers Bormio features leather around all sides of the zippered boot, including each toe pocket on the toe shoes/boots.Clean lines and premium materials make the men's Bormio boot a great fall casual. Built on a traditional FiveFingers Trek platform, the men's Bormio boot features a fully lined kangaroo upper and rugged EVA and performance rubber sole. Side-zip closures cThe Navy has said "yes" to toe shoes like Vibram FiveFingers, as well as other minimalist or barefoot-like shoes for wear with various physical training!  Thumbs up, Navy!
