WolfGreat comments. I think the best point is made by you and even the article -- Nike and company are making 17 billion a year telling us we need thick healed shoes.

How is Vibram or the Barefoot movement going to beat that kind of marketing budget? I guess eventually with the truth, but it will take some time.

ryanDoes anyone know if vibram is a publicly traded company?

I've been searching all day online trying to find out and im really not sure. I already checked the NASDAQ website and it doesnt say anything and neither does their website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

letmyfeetfreeThis is what Mr. Bartold might as well of said........

Simon Bartold, an international research consultant for Asics, said advocates of barefoot running “are propagating a campaign of misinformation.” ... [later in the article] Mr. Bartold ... said the industry had ((((ASCICS)))’ best interests in mind. “It’s all about trying to protect (((OUR PROFITS))),” he said.

Running barefoot requires no shoes. No selling shoes no paycheck for Mr. Bartold. Whos interests do you think he really cares about???

I ran in my Vibram KSO's and have not felt as free since I was a kid.
