How was the buying process?
I bought my first VFF's from this store, i think they were the first uk distributors. Great communication about my purchases, they gave me even gave me free shipping from the UK to Australia, what more could you ask for? Website could be a bit more polished, but it is functional.

Would you buy from this retailer again?
Yes.

Any other feedback you would like to share.
I just wish they would get stock of the KSO Trek, Moc and other models.

How was the buying process?
These were also my first pair of VFFs and the buying process went well. I say that because they arrived within 10 days after I ordered them and I live in the United States. Free shipping but the Euro to USD conversion doesn't seem right. I paid 93.00 Euro for them which should equate to $112 USD (1 euro = 1.21 USD the day I ordered them) however I was charged $138 USD.

UPDATE from Alan: In regards to my review of Primal Lifestyle I must add a HUGE DUH!!!!

After speaking with my credit card company, I found out that the price I paid for my VFFs was actually 93.00 BRITISH POUNDS, not Euro, which does in fact translate to $138.00 USD.

Learn something new everyday, like the difference between the symbol for the Euro and the symbol for British Pound!

Also, I'm curious to know Steven McG contacted them. There's no contact info on the site and when I asked a question through Google Checkout, I never received a response.

All in all, I'm happy because I got my KSOs in the color I wanted and the fit is perfect. I think I may have received the LAST pair of size 41 black/camo KSOs in the world! Couldn't be more excited!!!

They were very professional, customer service takes a while to respond by email, i called them on a Saturday asked my questions and within 9 days they were here and ready. I actually received them today and couldn't be more happy!

Paid for it with google pay via the PL website, which I've never used before, so I hope the security is ok. Hadn't received them after a week (I'm in the UK) so rang them up, they were nice on the phone but hadn't even sent them yet and said "the guy who's supposed to send them isn't here but they'll be sent first class early this week". They were received two weeks after payment.

Would you buy from this retailer again?

Yes, because there are so few reliable retailers in the UK, they seem to have decent stock, and they were nice. I really wish though that they'd make sure to post within a few days of payment.

  • Do your homework. If you're new to Vibrams, take a moment to read the beginner's guide.
  • Determine your size at home! VFF sizes do not (necessarily) correspond to European sizes or standard shoe sizes! Familiarize yourself with the Vibram sizing methodology and you will have much better luck buying online or in a local store!
  • Consider ordering two different sizes and returning the pair that doesn't fit right.
  • Be flexible on colors. Neutral colors (Black KSOs anyone?) may make your VFFs slightly less noticeable considering they are five-toed shoes that look like Mr. Deed's feet! I say have fun with colors and just own the look!
  • Lastly, Beware of fake Five Fingers!
