What type of Five Fingers did you buy and when?

First pair of sprints (blue/teal combo with grey soles -- now disco'ed!) back in summer 2009 on clearance for around $50.

How was the buying process?

Simple online ordering process and shipment was fast. Happy about getting such a cheap pair of Sprints.

TravelCountry is the only online retailer I've used that I've seen have VFFs at clearance prices. Cool for the bargain hunter.

1st pair of KSO (ended up too small) + $50 blue sprint for a friend when it was on sale(ended up too large!) ultimately settled on a pair of black KSO.

How was the buying process?
I received an error when trying to purchase my shoes. I tried a couple more times, and ended up with 5 holds on my account for the purchase.

I contacted customer service, and within one business day they were able to clear up the problem, and send me a confirmation.

How was the buying process?
I ordered women's agate camo size 40, but recieved men's size 41 gray/clay. I emailed the store about the mistake, but said that I wasn't sure what to do as I was leaving the next morning for vacation for which I had ordered the shoes. I got a response almost immediately and they promised to overnight them for free or send them overnight to my destination. The shoes showed up the next morning at my house which is 1300 miles away!! Granted it was their mistake, but I was very impressed that they took care of it so quickly

Their stock is amazing! My order was shipped same day and arrived within 3 days for free. They assign a FedEx number so you can track it. The shoes ended up being too small so I sent them back and ordered a new pair. They credited my account the day they received the shoes back. This company is fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Jaya LR Copper/Almond, a few months ago- recently Jaya Black/Silver, ordered 1 pair and then ordered a second a size down the day after I received the 1st. Placed the order for 2nd Jayas Wed. and should see them Sat to determine which size I like best!

How was the buying process? Simple, easy, FAST shipping. I received my products within 2 days and can track easily on fedex.

I ordered these shoes Sunday night and they arrived on my doorstep by 9:30 Tuesday morning (free shipping). I also ordered my husband a pair of Komodo LS around noon on Saturday with Amazon Prime and they came after these (Tuesday afternoon). Very impressed by the shipping speed.

  • Do your homework. If you're new to Vibrams, take a moment to read the beginner's guide.
  • Determine your size at home! VFF sizes do not (necessarily) correspond to European sizes or standard shoe sizes! Familiarize yourself with the Vibram sizing methodology and you will have much better luck buying online or in a local store!
  • Consider ordering two different sizes and returning the pair that doesn't fit right.
  • Be flexible on colors. Neutral colors (Black KSOs anyone?) may make your VFFs slightly less noticeable considering they are five-toed shoes that look like Mr. Deed's feet! I say have fun with colors and just own the look!
  • Lastly, Beware of fake Five Fingers!
