I've posted in a few other threads, so I figured I'd say "hello" here. I live in Virginia, just outside of DC, and have the wool classics and black KSOs. I'd been running for a while, but only after getting my first pair of KSOs (which were unfortunately left in a hotel room in a foreign country so I couldn't get them back...). I've been sidelined by illness for the past six months or so, but am looking forward to getting back to it.
They definitely are becoming more well known. I live in Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, and you really have to be on top of the stores if you want to find a pair. Usually if you don't get to the shop within a day of the shipment, you don't get a pair.
I have Vivo Barefoot Aquas, which I rather enjoy. I haven't done much in the way of distance running (a few miles at a time, a few times), but I have worn them for racquetball, and find that they hold up well to the side-to-side movements as well as being minimalist feeling.
I've found that just bending the tabs back for a little while eases any irritation they may cause. I never had a huge problem with irritation however. Whenever I feel it start to rub a bit, I'll just bend the tabs back to about a 90 degree angle while I'm wearing them, and holding them like that for about 20 seconds. They stay for a while and stop rubbing.
