We got a kick out of this “barefoot running” article that mentions Vibram Five Fingers, but is mostly an ad for traditional marshmallow running shoes.

Former track and cross-country coach, Michael Legault, is not a fan of running shoes and says to go barefoot!

Our friends to the north in Saskatoon are getting into the barefoot running movement.

BirthdayShoes Week in Review

This past week Tim Kelley reviewed the Zensah Compression Leg Sleeves. Those who retweeted the review during the day it was published were automatically entered into a contest to win a pair of sleeves. @MilesBehindMe was the winner! Tim is a frequent contributor to the site — you can see his finish at the Dextrose ITU Triathlon in Washington D.C. in Five Fingers Sprints and him running the Marine Corps Marathon in his Five Fingers Sprints. When Tim isn’t training for upcoming races — including the Ironman Florida in November which he’ll be running in his Five Fingers Bikilas.

After celebrating the Fourth of the July, we thought it was appropriate to feature some fan stories from those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces helping protect our great country. Lindsey, who is about to join the U.S. Air Force, shared how she evolved from skeptic to a full-blown collector of VFFs. Then Patrick, a U.S. Marine Captain, told us about how he uses his KSOs for track, crossfit and boating.
