The sale

If it’s past 10AM EST or 7AM PST where you are, word to the savvy shopper: flash sale site LeftLane Sports has just announced the first ever (to my knowledge) flash sale of Vibram FiveFingers, offering select Vibrams at 50% off MSRP!

So you can basically get two pairs of VFFs for the price of one when it’s all said and done. Woot!

Becoming a member is as simple as providing basic info (name/email). There are no strings attached (no fees to join) — membership simply means you will get emailed future flash sales announcements. You can quit the email list at any time.

What styles of FiveFingers can you pick up with this sale, you ask? For men they’ve got Sprints, TrekSports, and — what for it — KSOs (!); for women, they’ve got Sprints and Classics.

Orders will ship in time for Christmas (so long as they’re placed no later than 11AM PST on Monday Dec. 19 they should arrive by Christmas Eve) though if your interest is piqued by these prices, your spidey-sense should be telling you this sale won’t last til Monday. For reference, LeftLane has previously had VIVO BAREFOOTs on sale and is similar in concept (though slightly different in execution) to outdoor flash sale site The Clymb.

The way I see it, this sale marks a sweet opportunity to hook up your toe-shoe-curious friends and family members with some of the original “barefoot shoes.” OR …

For those of you who already have a pair or two (or ten!) of FiveFingers but haven’t tried some of the original, less-soled models that “started it all,” well, here is your chance.
